REI Rocks my socks!

I forgot to tell about REI. We had a sonogram appointment Fri and got to see our little peanut's heartbeat (which really put my mind at ease).  My friend, Tressa from the Sandy Springs ward, borrowed my maternity clothes for when she was pregnant (had her baby in Nov last year). So since we were in the area we called to drop by and get them.  She was off in Loganville until 3p, but we weren't in a rush, so we just went to the mall to kill time....we got out of our 12.30 apt at like 1.30 i think. On the way, Jared stopped by REI...he wants us to be a camping/adventuring kind of family one day.  Well, I found these shoes that I really want to try online.  They are Vibram barefeet shoes (the kind with the toes)..they just look comfy.  So while we were there, we figured we would try them on to see if they were as awesome as they look.  Um, they are!  But the ones I LOVE are like $80...yikes.  They had some that were similar on sale for $50.  I know that is still steep...but these shoes are a.mazing! And Jared also found some on sale for about the same price.  Then...if you sign up for a family membership ($20...for life) you can get 20% off a sale item.  Which I know would be kind of pointless...spending as much on the membership as we would be saving.  But it was a lifetime thing, they give you these special deals every so often, plus 10% of your year's purchases back at the end of the year.  So...whatever, my birthday is coming up.  The shoes are awesome, and we definitely plan to go back...there was a tent that looked pretty awesome.
